I’m excited to share my latest piece, Split Palette of Forest Dreams, a 12 by 12 inch work where watercolor, acrylic, and pastel come together to explore the quiet magic of a forest path. The painting divides the scene into two distinct color worlds—cool purples and blues on one side, warm golden yellows and deep pinks on the other—capturing the gentle shift of seasons and the delicate balance within nature. A narrow stream runs through the center, reflecting both palettes and inviting the eye to move softly between them. Through textured brushstrokes, I aimed to bring the forest’s peaceful energy to life, offering a moment to pause and reflect on the beauty found in contrasts and transitions.
